Stefan Schmit is working in the IT Industry since 1998. He started in Services, worked a long time for a leading BI & Analytics Company and since 2011 he is working in the Big Data / Databases / Cloud Databases Sector. In May 2022 he joined MariaDB as Senior Solution Engineer for Central Europe and is now helping customers to setup the MariaDB Open Source HTAP Architectures in different deployments. Before MariaDB he worked for Cognos, IBM, EMC, Pivotal and Teradata.
