Christian Schmitz joined plusserver gmbh in October 2022 as Director Open Source and is responsible for the development of the orientation in the area of cloud, with a focus on open source and digital sovereignty. With over 25 years of experience in the IT industry, he brings in-depth knowledge in areas such as cloud technologies, IT security and business field development. Before joining plusserver, he was Chief Strategy & Innovation Officer at ownCloud and was responsible for the company's direction and the implementation of global strategic cloud projects.
