Christian passion is to improve the ease of use of those stubborn machines we call IT equipment. He iterated through support positions starting in 2002, mostly in an automotive context. He maintained end user applications and VR systems. At the last (Systems Engineer) position Christian took care of an InfiniBand fabric with a couple of thousand nodes. In 2013 he moved to Paris to work as an R&D Engineer in the HPC section of Bull(ATOS) to work on BXI. At the end of 2014 Christian moved back to Germany to work for a local-commerce Start-up and switched to Playstation Now to help containerise their stacks. In 2017 Christian started as a Technical Account Manager for Docker Inc. After the business side of Docker Inc was sold, Christian became a 'EC2 Spot Specialist SA' at AWS and became the first Senior Developer Advocate within the HPC product team. In 2022 Christian left AWS to once more pursue his passion project to push container usage in HPC. In 2023 he started to work with Max Planck to modernise their IT infrastructure and joined the startup EdgeSynergies as CTO.
