Achim Brand has a strong technical background and burns for disruptive technologies. After his bachelor’s degree in telematics/network engineering and his master’s degree in computer science, with focus on “IT Security”, he joined Cisco as a Sales Engineer. He was the first German SE joining Meraki (cloud managed networking) after its acquisition, where he got passionate about everything “cloud”. Then, he wanted to combine both interests, cloud & security, and joined Lacework to help building out the German market. Finally, Achim joined Wiz where he supports German customers and advises them on how to secure everything they build and run in the cloud.
